The Fever open a first-round series against the Aces Sunday after winning two of three regular-season meetings. WNBA writer Robin Lundberg says Aliyah Boston’s defense on A’ja Wilson may leave the Aces ill-equipped to exploit Indiana’s rebounding and perimeter-defense weaknesses.
The Aces are the defending champions and finished three places above Indiana in the regular season. Lundberg said Indiana’s only loss in those three meetings came in overtime after the Fever had led by 20.
Wilson averaged a league-high 26.2 points per game in the regular season. The four-time MVP was in the running for a record fifth MVP award in 2026.
