Liverpool have agreed a summer deal to sign French player Djylian N’Guessan, who is due to join in January and is currently on loan at Brest from Saint-Étienne. Anfield Watch compares his pressing and link-up play with Roberto Firmino’s.
At Brest, N’Guessan has been building first-team minutes from the bench. He nearly scored with an overhead kick late in his debut against Paris Saint-Germain; in 12 minutes against Auxerre, he won three of six duels, made two tackles and recorded two recoveries.
