The Green Bay Packers fell 35-14 to the Atlanta Falcons at Lambeau Field in Week 3, and coach Matt LaFleur called it “a humbling night.” Atlanta totaled 498 yards, including Bijan Robinson’s 194 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw for 312 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, completing 28 of 53 passes. Green Bay managed just 17 yards on nine rushing attempts.
The report said calls from Packers fans for LaFleur to be fired had grown louder. Green Bay’s next game was against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4, about a week and a half later.
