Marine Atlan’s French debut “La Gradiva” won Queer Lisboa’s best feature and audience awards at the festival’s 30th edition. The festival drew more than 11,500 admissions across 67 screenings in nine days, 53% more than in 2025 and a record.
Lorena Ros’s Spanish documentary “Up and Running” (“Corren las Liebres”) also won best documentary and the audience award. It examines the growing marginalization and homelessness among formerly incarcerated trans people in Barcelona.
“La Gradiva” also won the top prize at Cannes Critics’ Week and is one of five finalists to become France’s entry in the best international feature Oscar race. Queer Lisboa’s other winners included Mexican documentary “Nuestro Cuerpo Es una Estrella que Se Expande” in the Queer Art Competition and French short “Je veux qu'on se souvienne de nous” in the short-film competition.
