Snell threw 77 pitches in four innings without a walk. His two fastest fastballs of the season were 98.6 and 98.2 mph, and he averaged 96.8 mph with the pitch. Since returning from the injured list, he has allowed five runs in nine starts, never more than one in any outing.
Blake Treinen stopped warming in the bullpen before Brock Stewart entered to pitch the seventh after extra warm-up pitches. Later broadcast footage showed Treinen walking to the dugout and clubhouse with trainer Bernard Li.
