Presley Gerber, 27, died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner said. Kid Rock called his death a tragedy, while ex-girlfriend Charlotte D’Alessio wrote on social media that he “deserved more time.”
Paris Hilton remembered Gerber as a “beautiful soul,” and Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham also posted tributes. A representative for Gerber’s family said they are asking for privacy during “this very difficult and painful time.”
Gerber followed his mother, Cindy Crawford, into modeling as a teenager, signing with IMG Models at 15 and making his runway debut in 2016. In recent years, he also spoke publicly about mental health and addiction, saying he hoped his openness could help others facing similar struggles.
