Enes Kanter Freedom criticized Kevin Durant after he said he cared about WNBA basketball, not the “noise.” Kanter said the transgender-athlete debate concerned protecting women, not politics, and urged the league to limit eligibility to biological women.
Durant's comments also praised WNBA players for building brands, selling out arenas and pushing the game forward. Kanter argued that including transgender athletes in women's competitions and locker rooms could compromise fairness and safety; he also accused Durant of leaving Oklahoma City in 2016 to chase a ring.
