Illegal knee disqualifies Osmanli and gives Akylbeck Uulu TUF title

Ilimbek Akylbeck Uulu won The Ultimate Fighter’s bantamweight season by disqualification after Mehemmedeli Osmanli kneed him illegally in the head while he was grounded. The blow appeared to leave Uulu unconscious; referee Kerry Hatley stopped the bout 2:19 into round one.

Uulu had landed a takedown and gained some control before the illegal strike, and appeared to be slightly ahead. The win was his third in a row; Osmanli’s nine-fight winning streak ended.
