Michael Peguy Desronvil, the holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s case, plans a bar complaint against her lawyer Kevin Reddington, TMZ reports. His side says he believes Reddington publicly identified and targeted him after the mistrial; Reddington’s camp declined comment.
After the mistrial, Reddington told reporters the holdout had an agenda and had “robbed” the other jurors; he is also asking the court to investigate Desronvil. TMZ’s sources say Desronvil’s side believes Reddington should face suspension, discipline or disbarment.
Desronvil was the only juror who did not join the other 11 in voting to find Lindsay Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity. Other jurors have claimed he did not understand or ignored the “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard; Desronvil says prosecutors convinced him Clancy planned the crime.
