Prince Harry said his children, Archie and Lilibet, are happy at school after the family returned to Britain on August 26. He called the return “great” and said it lets him focus on the Invictus Games in Birmingham, scheduled for July next year.
The children reportedly moved to an undisclosed school after only two days in class; heavy traffic and the long school journey were reported to have strained their security team. Asked by CTV what prompted the UK relocation, Harry said there were “lots of reasons” but declined to elaborate, saying he did not want to distract from fundraising for Canadian veterans’ charities.
The return has also been accompanied by reported tensions over the couple’s status. A letter authorized by King Charles III and circulated to senior UK government and military stakeholders described Harry and Meghan as “private citizens”; they were reported to prefer “public figures.” The couple are awaiting a decision on taxpayer-funded security.
