Hailee Steinfeld said a recent week left her “knocked sideways” mentally and emotionally after her dog Brando fell ill and had to stay overnight at a vet. She got home late; dinner was cold, Harper’s bath was delayed, and Harper took three hours to fall asleep.
Steinfeld shared the account in the 104th edition of the Beau Society newsletter. She said her other dog, Martini, was unsettled while Brando was at the vet. She added that giving back to others makes her feel better and reminded her how simple it can be to be a good friend.
