Granahan increases its Descartes position despite Q2 share weakness

Granahan’s Small Cap Core Growth Strategy increased its position in Descartes Systems Group after the stock weighed on Q2 returns. The firm cited recurring revenue, profitability and disciplined acquisitions, saying the weakness did not change its positive long-term outlook.

Descartes Systems Group (NASDAQ: DSGX) closed at $78.61 on Sept. 25, 2026, down 10.32% year to date. The article reported a 52-week trading range of $62.56–$98.35 and a market capitalization of $6.73 billion.

Granahan’s strategy returned 46.7% in Q2, compared with 25.7% for the Russell 2000 Growth Index. For the first half of 2026, it gained 39.4%, versus 22.2% for the index.
