Glen Powell and Michelle Randolph watched Texas beat Tennessee 20-17 at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on Sept. 26, sitting with friends in a private box. Weeks earlier, Powell called their relationship “very serious” when asked about an engagement within a year.
Powell made the remark while signing autographs in New York on Sept. 3. Asked whether making the relationship Instagram official had made him nervous, he told TMZ, “No, it’s not scary if you believe in it.” He had shared a black-and-white photo of them kissing in a July Fourth Instagram carousel.
Powell grew up in Austin, attended the University of Texas and said he designed his home after moving back from Los Angeles for football Saturdays, with room for friends and family and a barbecue setup. Texas improved to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in Southeastern Conference play; 101,915 fans attended the game.
