College Football 27’s simulation gave No. 2 Georgia a 27-12 win over No. 24 Oklahoma, as Nate Frazier’s fourth-quarter touchdown broke open a 17-12 game. Georgia’s Gunner Stockton threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns, but also had two interceptions.
Oklahoma’s defense intercepted Stockton twice in the first quarter, but the Sooners settled for field goals and trailed 9-7 at halftime. Georgia scored 10 points in the third quarter to lead 17-9; Oklahoma cut it to 17-12 before Frazier’s touchdown and a later Georgia field goal.
Stockton completed 27 of 32 passes; Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer went 23 of 32 for 184 yards and no touchdowns, and the Sooners rushed for 66 yards. Frazier had 112 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. The simulated score would cover Georgia’s cited 13.5-point spread; the 44.5-point over would not hit.
