ESPN's Jeremy Fowler suggested the Giants call Minnesota about J.J. McCarthy after Jaxson Dart's season-ending knee injury. Fowler says rival teams believe McCarthy could be acquired at a “value” price; Jameis Winston is New York's other option.
McCarthy, drafted 10th overall in 2024, made 10 starts for Minnesota last season, going 6-4 with a 57.6% completion rate, 1,632 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He is now the Vikings' third quarterback.
