Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus proposed a Lakers trade for Julius Randle that would send LaRavia, Jaden Hardy, Dalton Knecht and Jarred Vanderbilt to Brooklyn. He said the Nets probably would not move Randle before the season, but he could be a trade-deadline target.
Pincus said Randle would give the Lakers a different frontcourt alongside Walker Kessler, with Sandro Mamukelashvili as backup; he put Randle’s cost at $33.3 million. Separately, Lakers insider Jovan Buha said the team needed to waive one of Dalton Knecht, Jaden Hardy or Bronny James to meet roster limits.
