Four Panthers defenders—Devin Lloyd (calf), Jaelan Phillips (back), Nick Scott (ribs) and Claudin Cherelus (shoulder)—missed the first practice ahead of their Week 3 game against Cleveland. Jalen Coker was limited by an ankle injury.

Patrick Jones II and Bobby Brown III were full participants; Darren Waller did not practice for rest. For the Browns, Teven Jenkins (back) was the only nonparticipant, while Tytus Howard (knee), Mason Graham (groin), Grant Delpit (shoulder), Tyson Campbell (ankle and hip) and Quincy Williams (knee) were limited.

Nick Scott left Sunday's Falcons game and did not return; Lathan Ransom filled in. Carolina held Atlanta to three points and forced five turnovers in that game.
