An 18-year-old man was airlifted to hospital in serious but stable condition after being injured by a pickup truck on Seamer Road in Scarborough on Friday night. Four people were arrested in connection with the investigation and remain in custody.
Police said they first received reports of an altercation at an address on Eden Drive at 21:45 BST on Friday; reports of a man injured by a pickup truck on Seamer Road followed about five minutes later. Those arrested were three men, aged 47, 36 and 23, and a 17-year-old boy. Police asked witnesses and anyone with relevant footage to get in touch.
