Gary Oldman kept his own hair long to play Jackson Lamb in “Slow Horses,” choosing not to wear a wig because it would need heavy product and constant touch-ups. He says getting ready takes about half an hour, rather than three or four hours.
Oldman said Lamb’s hair is described as falling over the collar in Mick Herron’s Slough House books. He had long hair when he began the role in 2022 and has kept it, with it growing somewhat longer over the series.
The sixth season’s official logline says Lamb and his team are on the run as Diana Taverner draws them into a high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge. New episodes arrive Wednesdays on Apple TV through Oct. 21.
