Georgetown tied Butler for eighth in the Big East in 2025-26, losing the tiebreaker based on results against Seton Hall. Under Darnell Haney, the Hoyas won 19 conference games over three seasons, compared with 14 in James Howard’s final four. They have not had a winning Big East record under Haney and last reached the NCAA tournament in 2012.
Returning rotation players include Khia Miller (9.0 points per game), Destiny Agubata (the team’s leading rebounder) and Brianna Byars (3.7 points and 3.6 rebounds). Bowling Green transfer Johnea Donahue averaged 11.1 points and a MAC-best 4.2 steals per game; Pacific transfer Winner Bartholomew averaged 13.3 points and 5.4 rebounds, while Northwestern State transfer Clarence Djuela averaged 6.9 rebounds per game. Lockhart is ranked 61st to 66th by three services, though ESPN does not list her in its top 100.
