Five-star 2028 offensive lineman Antijuan Wilkes Jr. is expected to attend Michigan’s Saturday game against Iowa, making his second Wolverines visit in three weekends, On3 reports. The Cass Tech recruit is ranked No. 11 nationally and No. 1 in Michigan.
After visiting for Michigan’s win over Oklahoma, Wilkes told Rivals the environment and coaching stood out, along with the hometown connection and how the players treated him. His other listed contenders include Ohio State, Texas A&M, Alabama, Miami, Georgia and Oregon; he visited Texas A&M last weekend and had planned to visit Georgia this weekend. Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong reported Michigan is working to bring teammates Major Stokes and Mataio Fano to Ann Arbor. Aedyn Havili had said he planned to attend, but his visit was not locked in; LaMarcus Army and Tyler Trusel are expected back.
Four-star 2028 running back Xander Edwards is scheduled to make his first Michigan visit Oct. 24 for the Indiana game. He has rushed for 552 yards in four games and says his recruitment remains open, with no decision expected until next August. Edwards said Michigan has told him he is its top target; running backs coach Tony Alford has stayed in frequent contact.
