Matthew Settle, Ryan Reynolds, Nathan Fillion, Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre have played Green Lanterns onscreen. Pierre was the first to portray John Stewart in live action, in HBO’s Lanterns, and will reprise the role in Man of Tomorrow, scheduled for July 2027.
Settle was the first actor to play Guy Gardner, in the 1997 CBS TV movie Justice League of America; Reynolds played Hal Jordan in 2011’s Green Lantern. Fillion has portrayed Guy in Superman (2025), Peacemaker season two and Lanterns, while Chandler plays an older, more experienced Hal Jordan in Lanterns.
