Fatal moped collision involving e-bike rider prompts west London murder probe

The Metropolitan Police is investigating murder after a 24-year-old e-bike cyclist died in a collision with a moped on North Pole Road, North Kensington, at about 01:20 BST on Friday. Police believe the moped had been pursuing him and are trying to identify its rider.

The man was found seriously injured when emergency services were called and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards. Detectives said the inquiry was in its early stages and asked anyone who saw the e-bike or moped in the area to contact police.
