Deion Sanders hopes the Jaguars give Travis Hunter a larger offensive role: he played four offensive snaps in Week 1 and six in Week 2. Hunter caught one pass for 8 yards in the opener, had no Week 2 targets, and logged 29 and 37 defensive snaps, respectively.
Sanders, who coached Hunter at Colorado, said on his CBS Colorado show that he was not with the Jaguars and did not know what was happening within the team, but said he knows Hunter’s capabilities. Jacksonville is 1-1 and is scheduled to host New England on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. ET.
