The Boston Globe's Tim Healey reported that the teams were planning the doubleheader. MLB.com's Jordan Bastian and Ian Browne wrote Wednesday that the league prefers to complete all 162 scheduled games, particularly with playoff seeds at stake; Monday is the only off-day before the Wild Card Series.
