In “American Horror Story: 13,” Constance Langdon gathers Tate, Adelaide, Kai and Winter in New York, with Elizabeth Short—the Black Dahlia—as her special guest. She says Short will join 13 legendary leading ladies, but the group’s plan remains unclear.
The group tells Short about Rauhnacht, when the veil between hell and Earth is thinnest. Short cannot remember who she is; she recalls being assaulted by Dr. David Curran, mutilated by the ghost of Dr. Charles Montgomery and then coming back to life. Tate, Adelaide, Kai and Winter take her to Club Hell, where Wilhemina Venable calls it a portal to hell.
Elsewhere, Ben finds that his patient, Mr. Nas, has a tail and later sees him contorting and vomiting black liquid. Constance dismisses the liquid as a bleeding ulcer and says the things on his head are due to age. After Ben interrupts the gathering, she drugs his drink. He also learns that Twisty the Clown killed 13 people at a Los Angeles clown school.
