On the Sept. 24 season 5 premiere of “Special Forces,” Collin Gosselin made it through day one, including the helicopter jump that ended estranged mother Kate’s season 1 run. He said he wanted to do better than she did and “redeem” the Gosselin name.
Kate was eliminated from season 1 after landing on her neck during the opening helicopter jump; she said she was in severe pain, consulted medics and was forced out by the injury. She later said she was upset her chance to challenge herself ended so early.
In 2024, Collin accused Kate of verbal abuse and isolating him from his seven siblings; he also alleged she zip-tied his hands and feet and locked him in a room. Her attorney told The Sun he did not believe Kate intentionally harmed Collin, saying she acted to protect herself and her family from what he called “troubled behavior.” PEOPLE said it had not received a response from Kate or her attorney to its request for comment.
