Colin Simmons’ sack celebration draws a flag, extending Tennessee drive

Texas pass rusher Colin Simmons drew a taunting flag after a third-down sack against Tennessee, extending the Volunteers’ drive instead of forcing a punt. Officials said his celebration simulated using the restroom; Tennessee failed to score on the possession.

ABC analyst Kirk Herbstreit criticized the celebration, calling it “an absolute idiotic move.” Simmons had two sacks and five tackles in the first half. He tried to plead his case, but officials still flagged him.
