Buffalo Bills cornerback Christian Benford left the Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Chargers with a toe injury and was questionable to return. David Igbinosun replaced him; Benford had three tackles and one pass defended before exiting.
Igbinosun had a pass breakup shortly after entering. Buffalo is thin at cornerback: backup slot corner Jordan Hancock went on injured reserve this week, and the Bills called up Te'Cory Couch from the practice squad. If another boundary corner is injured, slot corner Dee Alford would likely move outside, with Couch likely filling the slot.
