Tennessee fell three places in the AP Poll and four in the Coaches Poll after losing 20-17 at home to top-ranked Texas; the Volunteers are No. 17 in both rankings. They rallied late but could not convert an onside-kick recovery into a tying or winning score.
Tennessee’s next opponent, Auburn, did not enter the polls after beating Vanderbilt, so the Volunteers will not face a ranked team this weekend. The game is scheduled to begin shortly after 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on ABC.
Florida made the biggest jump in the AP Poll, rising 13 places to No. 8 after beating Ole Miss 52-28. Ole Miss fell from No. 4 to No. 9.
