Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart will miss the rest of the season after a knee injury in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Running back Cam Skattebo called Dart his “best friend” and said losing him was emotional.
Skattebo said Dart was doing well and described him as strong-minded. He expected Dart to be eager to return as quickly as possible during rehabilitation, noting that Dart had been through similar setbacks before.
Skattebo said the Giants had at least 15 games remaining and that the team had Jameis Winston’s back. The Giants beat Dallas in their opener and were due to face the 0-2 Tennessee Titans in Week 3.
