The Chicago Bulls are reportedly trading guard Rob Dillingham to the Charlotte Hornets for Buddy Hield and cash, but the deal is not finalized, The Athletic reports. Hield hit 34.9% of his 3-point attempts in 51 games last season.
Dillingham, 21, was the eighth pick in the 2024 draft, selected by San Antonio before moving to Minnesota on draft night. Chicago acquired him from the Timberwolves at February's trade deadline; if completed, the deal would make Charlotte his third NBA team in two seasons. He struggled to earn regular rotation minutes in Minnesota.
