Boise State beat Western Michigan 32-7 to lead the Group of 6, while Fresno State, Texas State, Oregon State and Utah State also won. Toledo routed San Diego State 41-16, and UTSA beat Colorado State 59-45 in a game featuring more than 1,000 combined yards.
Texas State beat Incarnate Word 63-10, Oregon State topped UTEP 33-7, and Utah State earned its first win, 21-10 over Troy. Fresno State rallied past Rice 38-24 after trailing 17-14 at halftime. Arizona also beat Washington State, which fell to 1-3.
San Diego State running backs Lucky Sutton and Javion Kinnard both left with injuries. Toledo outgained the Aztecs 494-296.
