Boise State coach Spencer Danielson says Western Michigan is undefeated through three weeks and insists the Broncos beat Michigan, despite Michigan receiving the official win. He made the claim after reviewing game film, ahead of Saturday’s matchup in Kalamazoo.
Yahoo Sports reported that the NCAA said it could not overturn the result, while acknowledging that replay protocols were not followed on the game’s second-to-last play and that following them would have changed the outcome. Michigan officially finished with 13 points; Danielson said Western Michigan’s defense held it to six.
Boise State travels to Kalamazoo for Saturday’s game, scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m. EST on ESPN2.
