A new biography says Tom Brady left Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp for 11 days in 2022 to meet Gisele Bundchen at a private Bahamas resort in an effort to save their marriage; the couple divorced that October after 13 years.
The biography says Bundchen first asked Brady to retire after the Patriots’ 2017 Super Bowl win; he replied that he was “having too much fun right now.” After New England lost the 2018 Super Bowl to Philadelphia, she again asked him to retire in a letter, saying their marriage was not working and she needed more time and attention from him.
An unnamed Brady insider told author Lars Anderson that Bundchen, who was interested in astrology, looked at the stars and told Brady, “We’re not compatible.”
