Falcons running back Bijan Robinson said he “just be talking sometimes” after his comparison of Kevin Stefanski’s locker-room speech to Martin Luther King Jr. went viral. Robinson praised the speech after Atlanta beat Green Bay, saying it followed a Week 2 loss to Carolina.
Robinson said Stefanski brought players together after the loss to Carolina and asked whether they would let it define the team or try to turn things around. Against Green Bay, Robinson had 194 yards and two touchdowns, including a 55-yard gain in the first quarter.
Asked about the comparison, Stefanski joked Friday that his language was far less restrained than King’s: “I don't think Dr. King used as many f-bombs as I did,” he said, according to the article.
