Patriots special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer says Parker Washington’s 96-yard punt-return touchdown for Jacksonville on Oct. 20, 2024, still sticks with him. The teams meet Sunday, and Springer says New England must stay disciplined to prevent another big return.
The touchdown came in the second quarter of the teams’ game in London. Through Jacksonville’s first two games this season, Washington had 12 catches for 181 yards and a touchdown on 18 targets, plus three returns for a combined seven yards.
