The Bears are preparing to start third-string quarterback Case Keenum against the Eagles in Week 3’s Monday night game, NFL Network reported. Caleb Williams is not expected to play after a Week 2 hamstring injury, while backup Tyson Bagent is in concussion protocol.
Keenum last started an NFL game in 2023. In the 2017 NFC Championship Game, the Eagles intercepted him twice and beat the Vikings 38-7; Patrick Robinson returned one interception 50 yards for a first-quarter touchdown.
