Aubrey’s perfect kicking day and Barham’s debut shape Cowboys’ Brazil preview

SB Nation

In SB Nation’s Cowboys roundtable, writers praised Brandon Aubrey after he made all seven scoring kicks against Washington, including a 60-yarder, and mostly graded rookie Jaishawn Barham’s green-dot debut B to B+ ahead of Dallas’ Brazil game with Baltimore.

Barham wore the green dot—the defensive communication role—for the first time. Writers said Dallas looked more organized and he forced a fumble; some also noted containment problems, particularly against Jayden Daniels.

Several writers worried about Dallas’ struggles against mobile quarterbacks and Lamar Jackson, along with Baltimore’s physicality; others flagged travel and field conditions in Brazil. One contributor said Baltimore led the teams’ historical head-to-head 7–1, while another cited an early betting line that made Dallas a three-point underdog.
