Before Sunday night's Rams-Broncos game, Mile High Report's Ian St. Clair said Los Angeles should test Denver's run defense with Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, then target tight ends, citing Denver's struggles covering them.
St. Clair said Denver had struggled to stop the run since last year's playoffs and pointed to poor tackling against Kenneth Walker III and the Chiefs, although he said the tackling improved against Jacksonville. He recommended heavy sets, including three-tight-end formations, to create chances to put linebackers Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad in coverage.
On Denver's offense, St. Clair said it clicked in the second half against Jacksonville after a slow start, but needs to finish drives and start faster. FanDuel Sportsbook listed the Rams as 2.5-point favorites for the matchup.
