At Gucci’s Sept. 25 Milan Fashion Week show, Aryna Sabalenka and Georgina Rodríguez compared engagement rings in a Vanity Fair Italia video. Sabalenka asked to photograph Rodríguez’s ring for her fiancé, Georgios Frangulis, as an example of “what actually has to happen.”
Sabalenka got engaged to Georgios Frangulis after his surprise proposal on March 3, and they announced it the next day. The Daily Mail reported that her ring features an oval diamond of more than 12 carats, emeralds and platinum. Designer Isabela Grutman said emeralds are Sabalenka’s favorite stone and that the design details were Frangulis’ idea.
Rodríguez got engaged to Cristiano Ronaldo in August 2025 after nearly a decade of dating; her ring is estimated to weigh 37 carats. The couple married in a civil ceremony on Aug. 11, 2026, exchanging simple gold wedding bands.
