In a new book, Ari Emanuel says further 2022 allegations against Vince McMahon—including one involving a woman during a threesome—led him and TKO executive Mark Shapiro to decide McMahon had to leave WWE and TKO entirely. McMahon agreed to go that day.
Emanuel says McMahon had initially been allowed back after earlier allegations. In his account, Shapiro told McMahon they had crossed several red lines; McMahon replied that he understood and would do what was required that day. Emanuel said there would be no emeritus position or further company involvement.
