Apple TV’s eight-episode crime thriller The Wanted Man premieres January 6, 2027: its first two episodes arrive that day, followed by one each Wednesday through February 17. Hugh Laurie stars as Felix Carmichael, head of a British crime syndicate.
Apple TV’s synopsis says Carmichael, “untouchable” for 20 years, is finally apprehended and held at Staplehurst prison. After a member of his syndicate betrays him and moves to dismantle his empire, he risks a daring escape to seek revenge.
Thandiwe Newton, Fionn Whitehead, Gina McKee, Hazel Doupe, Elliott Heffernan and Stephen Dillane also star. George Kay (Lupin, Hijack) created the series and serves as writer and showrunner; Jacob Verbruggen directed.
