Aldi says price cuts will save shoppers $86 million through at least Nov. 3 across produce, organic goods and lean proteins. Honeycrisp apples are $1.99 a pound—35% below last year, the chain says—and Kirkwood chicken breast family packs are also $1.99 a pound.
Aldi says the Honeycrisp price is its lowest everyday price in five years, while the chicken packs are at their lowest price since 2022. Other reduced items include Bartlett pears, Brussels sprouts, butternut and spaghetti squash, fresh herbs and garlic, French beans, and other apples and potatoes.
The retailer says nearly one-third of products on its shelves are now priced below last year. It also pointed to hundreds of items already cheaper than in 2025, including ground and organic whole-bean coffee, mixed nuts, dried fruit, paper towels, Elevation Ready to Drink protein shakes and Choceur chocolate.
