Air Canada will keep its Toronto-Dubai flights canceled through the end of March 2027, citing the situation in the Middle East. Its Toronto-Tel Aviv service is still scheduled to resume Nov. 30, so the Dubai suspension does not cover all of the airline’s Middle East routes.
The Dubai service had previously been due to restart in January 2027. Air Canada says a thorough review of regional security guides decisions on restarting or extending route suspensions; before the cancellation, the Toronto-Dubai route operated daily.
Air Canada is currently flying to no destinations in the Middle East. Its Doha route was suspended in 2023 for commercial reasons unrelated to the current security situation. Emirates flies from Dubai to Toronto and Montréal, while Etihad serves Toronto from Abu Dhabi.
