Agassi says captaining Team World at the Laver Cup feels “a little bit more fun than stress,” as he helps players think through matches. In his second year in the role, he is enjoying a sport he once said he hated.
In his 2009 autobiography “Open,” Agassi wrote that he disliked tennis “with a dark and secret passion” because of his overbearing father.
Agassi helped Team World win last year’s Laver Cup. This year’s event is underway in London.
