Notre Dame beat Purdue 49-10 on Saturday, with Fighting Irish Wire naming Drayk Bowen, Aneyas Williams, CJ Carr, Micah Gilbert and the defense as its five standouts. Bowen scored on a fumble return; Carr threw three TDs and ran for another.
Williams gained 80 yards on 14 carries, including a 22-yard touchdown, while Gilbert had two catches for 81 yards, including a 56-yard reception and a score.
Carr completed 14 of 22 passes for 237 yards and threw his first interception of the season. Notre Dame's defense nearly kept Purdue out of the end zone; Purdue scored its only touchdown in the closing seconds.
