A West Allis, Wisconsin, couple found a 4-foot boa beneath their Oldsmobile's engine, initially mistaking it for a loose hose. A reptile rescuer coaxed it out through the wheel well. Animal control is holding the snake, and its owner has four days to claim it.
If no owner claims the boa, Cindy Steinle of Small Scale Reptile Rescue plans to prepare it for adoption.
