Mothers unveiled a bench at Stoke Poges Memorial Garden for young people lost to knife crime. Tatiana Qureshi’s son Temur, 19, died after an attack in Slough in September 2023; the group hopes the bench will help young people reflect and express emotions.
Qureshi said Temur often came to the garden when he was having a tough time or wanted to be alone. She hopes the bench can comfort others. His friends Aamash Qazi and Zak Rahman attended the unveiling; Qazi said Temur would have been proud, while Rahman said he had made an impact on the community.
