Four-year-old Jayde Wooten died after her father said he found her upside down in a bathroom trash can filled with water and fish. Neighbors attempted CPR, and she was pronounced dead at a medical facility. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
WGXA reported that the father told a deputy he had just arrived home and could not find Jayde in her room. He said he woke her mother, who said she had fallen asleep while Jayde was eating in the kitchen; during his search, he heard her scream. A GoFundMe was created to help the parents cover funeral costs and support them.
